     Whether you file a Chapter 7 or 13, you will be required to attend a Meeting of Creditors (341 Meeting). This takes place within thirty (30) days after filing. After filing, our office will notifiy you of the 341 hearing date and time. Attorney Charles C. Ward, will represent you at the hearing.

     The hearing is an opportunity for the trustee and creditors to ask you questions about your income, assets and liabilities. In addition, they may want to clarify what you intend to do with their claim. In most cases, the creditors will not appear.

      At the hearing, you will need the following:

  1. Driver License,
  2. Social Security card,
  3. most recent bank statements,
  4. most recent pay stub, and
  5. Your car title(s).
